Haha, yeah, the sun lounger situation at those Phuket pool parties can be a total war zone. Early bird gets the worm, unfortunately. But… there might be a way around it. Try heading to the pool a little after the initial rush. Like, maybe an hour or two after they officially open. A lot of people will be there at the crack of dawn, then will leave for breakfast or whatever. You might find some spots have opened up. Also, be sneaky. If you see someone leaving their stuff unattended for a bit, casually check if it’s really claimed, but don’t be aggressive about it, you know? It's a gamble, but better than being up at sunrise! It's not a massive party scene, but there’s enough going on to keep it interesting. You'll find a lot of smaller bars with a chilled-out vibe – not just big clubs. Think more intimate, atmospheric places. Just wander around and explore; you'll stumble across some gems.
