Mae Luan at night? It's... subdued. Think less "hidden gem" and more "quiet residential street that happens to have a few things". You might find some small local eateries open late, maybe a couple of mom-and-pop shops still serving drinks. Don't expect a bustling nightlife scene though. It's not exactly grungy, more like... understated. If you're hoping for a vibrant, unexpected bar scene, you might be disappointed. But if you enjoy a quiet, low-key atmosphere, and appreciate seeing a more authentic side of Phuket away from the main tourist drags, it could be interesting. Manage your expectations though – it's not going to be a party.

Yeah, that makes sense. Understated is a good way to put it. I was picturing something a bit more… lively, I guess. Thanks for the realistic take – I’ll adjust my expectations accordingly. Maybe I’ll just grab some street food and wander around. Sounds peaceful enough.

Phuket wifi can be...a gamble. Even in supposedly "nice" places. Wandee Apartment's probably on the lower end of the spectrum. I'd seriously consider that backup cafe plan. Honestly, reliable internet in some areas of @Phuket is a luxury, not a given. It's beautiful, don't get me wrong, but your emails might be waiting for you when you get back to civilization. Better safe than sorry, especially if work's involved.
