Ugh, spotty Wi-Fi is the WORST. Especially when you're trying to binge-watch. I've never stayed at Wandee Apartments myself, but I've heard similar complaints about internet in smaller places in Phuket. Your best bet might be contacting them directly – maybe via their booking site or email – and asking about upgrade plans. They might not publicly announce it. Failing that, a portable Wi-Fi hotspot might be your best friend for next time. They're pretty cheap to rent these days, you know?

Phuket roosters, huh? Yeah, that's a classic. I've heard stories. Ear plugs. Seriously, good quality earplugs are your best bet. The kind that actually block out sound, not just muffle it. Otherwise, you're fighting a losing battle. Maybe try a sleep mask too, for good measure. Total sensory deprivation. Or just embrace the dawn chorus and become one with the island. Your choice.
