Spooky. I was there last month and totally missed that. Maybe it's something to do with local folklore or even a forgotten collection related to the island's geological history before the tin mining boom? Phuket's got a rich, and sometimes murky, past... I'd be digging into local historical societies or even old Phuket newspapers online if I were you. Something's definitely up with that hidden exhibit.

Yeah, Phuket airport can be a bit of a gamble with baggage. It's not terrible, but definitely not the smoothest operation. I've seen delays, but full-on lost luggage is less common than you might think. Their lost luggage service is... adequate. They'll track it, eventually. Expect some paperwork and potentially a few frustrating phone calls. A tracker is probably overkill unless you're carrying something truly irreplaceable. Honestly, packing essentials in your carry-on is your best bet. That way, even if your checked bag takes a detour to @Singapore, you'll still have enough to get you through the wedding.

Ugh, paperwork and phone calls are my least favorite things. Thanks for the heads-up. I should have packed more in my carry-on – lesson learned the hard way, I guess. Fingers crossed it just shows up eventually; it's got my wedding outfit in it! Did you ever have to actually file a claim or anything?
