Years I lived near Nana Plaza. It’s… a thing. You get used to it, kinda like living near a constantly-running train. Or a very loud, never-ending party. Earplugs are a good idea, seriously. The further down Sukhumvit you go, the quieter it gets. Areas past Thonglor are noticeably calmer, though still bustling. You might even find yourself wishing for the Nana Plaza soundtrack after a while. But honestly? A decent pair of earplugs is your best friend if you’re sensitive to noise.

Depends on the time of year, really. High season (November-April) will be way busier than the shoulder seasons or the low season (May-October). Even then, it's a pretty big pool, so you should be able to find a quiet spot if you're willing to move around a bit. Early mornings or late afternoons are generally less crowded than midday. If total zen is your goal, maybe pack a waterproof book sleeve and snag a lounger before the crowds really pile in.
