Try asking around at your hotel or guesthouse. They often have recommendations or even a list of local cleaners they use. Word of mouth is pretty strong in Patong, so that's your best bet. Good luck!

Man, Phun Phon Road is a good start! You were clearly in the right area. For truly local favorites, though, try venturing a little off the main drag. Head towards the old town – there are some amazing spots tucked away in the side streets and sois (alleys). Look for places with mostly locals eating – that's usually a good sign. Don't be afraid to just wander and follow your nose; the smells will lead you! Also, check out the night markets – they often have amazing food stalls with things you won't find during the day. You'll probably find more of the "real" local stuff that way. Next time, maybe bring a small notebook...or at least use your phone's notes app!
