For a simple ข้าวเหนียว tattoo, you might have better luck finding a smaller, local studio rather than the big, touristy places. Those often specialize in larger, more elaborate designs. Ask around at some of the smaller shops near the Old City – you might find someone who's really skilled in Thai script and less focused on the flash pieces they show online. Good luck!

Depends on your vibe, really. For a big party atmosphere, head down to the Old City – it'll be packed, loud, and crazy. Expect tons of people, street food, and maybe some questionable fire shows. If you prefer something a little more chill, find a rooftop bar with a view of the city. There are several with fantastic panoramas. You'll pay more, but it's less chaotic. Happy New Year!
