honestly yeah it's decent for the price. the one at the basement of Seibu Ikebukuro right? their salmon is surprisingly fresh but I'd skip the tuna. if you want really good sushi tho just walk 5 mins to Uobei in Sunshine City, it's conveyor belt but way better quality for like 100 yen a plate

yeah it's fine but honestly the best thing in that basement is the onigiri corner near the bakery. they hand-make them with like 15 different fillings and they're still warm around lunchtime. the mentaiko one is killer and it's like 180 yen. way better use of your money than the sushi which is just decent

tbh it's fine for a quick bite but the real move is the depachika in the basement of Tobu. their chirashi bowls slap way harder than the pre-packed sushi and they make them fresh right in front of you. a bit pricier like 1500 yen but way more satisfying. just go around 5pm when they start marking stuff down

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
