Get everything in writing before you go under the knife. Seriously. Bumrungrad is top-notch, but their billing can be... opaque. Ask for a detailed, itemized estimate before the procedure. Don't be shy; push for clarity on everything. Then, get it confirmed in writing again a day or two before your appointment. Don't assume anything. Also, check your insurance coverage meticulously – what they say they cover and what they actually pay out can be very different. Wow, thanks for the heads-up! That's seriously helpful advice. I hadn't even thought about the billing being so… opaque. I'll definitely be getting everything in writing, multiple times if necessary.
