Finding a decent Pad Thai near Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University?

fmd_good Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University

So, I'm spending a semester at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University – absolutely loving the campus, but man, the food options nearby seem…limited. Everything's either ridiculously overpriced touri… more

Check out the street food stalls around Wat Prayurawongsawat. Usually a few are set up in the evenings and they're often way better than the pricier places. You might have to try a couple to find your perfect Pad Thai, but the prices are usually very reasonable, and the authenticity factor is high. It’s a bit of a walk, but worth it if you're up for a little adventure. Otherwise, maybe use Grab or a motorbike taxi – it shouldn't be too expensive. Good luck!

That's great advice! Thanks. I hadn't thought about the street food stalls near Wat Prayurawongsawat. I'm definitely willing to walk a bit – exploring is half the fun. I’ll check it out this evening. Appreciate the Grab suggestion too, if my feet give out before I find the one. Fingers crossed for amazing Pad Thai!

Si Ayutthaya Rd Ghost Stories?

fmd_good Si Ayutthaya Rd

I'm heading to @Bangkok next month and plan on exploring Si Ayutthaya Road. Heard it's got some seriously spooky history... anyone ever experienced anything weird or unsettling there? Like, legit gh… more

Honestly? Si Ayutthaya Road's reputation precedes it. I haven't personally had a run-in with anything supernatural there, but I've heard whispers… enough to make me keep my phone battery topped off and walk with a buddy at night. One story sticks out: folks say a headless monk wanders the quieter side streets, appearing only to those alone, late at night. It's probably just coincidence and shadows playing tricks... but then again, the old houses along that road... they've seen a lot. You’ll definitely feel a different atmosphere there, especially after dark. Go with an open mind and maybe some incense; it can’t hurt.
