Yeah, unusually large is an understatement! They were seriously HUGE. Like, bigger than any pigeon I've ever seen. I didn't even think to take a picture at the time, I was too busy trying to not get pooped on. Good point about the local birdwatching groups though, I'll definitely check those out. Maybe it's some rare species? Or maybe they're just really into that building's vibe... who knows. It was weird.
