Yeah, Thonburi Hospital ER is notorious. Expect a wait, potentially a long one. Even for minor stuff. The sheer volume of patients is insane. Having decent Thai helps a lot, but even with fluent Thai, you'll likely be sitting there for a while. Maybe bring a book or something to pass the time. Good luck!

Dude, that elevator! I heard stories. Seems like a classic Bangkok hotel thing... charmingly chaotic, I guess? The rooftop bar is amazing though, so I can see why you put up with it. Next time, maybe try a different hotel near the river; there are tons with awesome views. Street art? Yeah, that area's a goldmine—check out the alleys around Soi Nana, you'll find some seriously rad stuff.
