Makro Madness?

fmd_good Makro

So I'm heading to Makro in @Bangkok next week to stock up on supplies for my street food stall. Heard the bulk buying is insane, but navigating that place sounds like a level from some kind of bizarr… more

Bring a map! Seriously. Those places are HUGE. And a trolley. Even if you think you won't need one, you will. Trust me. Also, go early. The later it gets, the more chaotic it becomes. Think less "shopping" more "industrial-scale warehouse obstacle course." Good luck, you'll need it.

Haha, "hushed Japanese tea ceremony" is exactly right! I felt so incredibly self-conscious the entire time. Like I was going to accidentally shatter the delicate atmosphere with a misplaced cough. Maybe I should have worn a kimono... or at least practiced my bowing beforehand. Seriously though, the food was amazing, so it was worth the mild anxiety attack.
