Finding the best Pad Thai near Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University?

fmd_good Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University

So, I'm heading to @Bangkok next month to visit my cousin who's studying at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, or just "Bansomdej" as she calls it. She says the campus is pretty chill, but the r… more

Honestly, pinpointing the best Pad Thai near Bansomdej is tough. It's all subjective, ya know? But if you're near the university, wander down the sois (small streets) a bit. Look for places with lots of locals – that’s usually a good sign. Don't be afraid to peek into some less flashy spots; the best food isn't always the flashiest. Ask around, too! Even a simple "Sawasdee krap/ka, Pad Thai?" (hello sir/ma'am, Pad Thai?) can lead to amazing discoveries. My bet is you'll stumble upon something incredible without needing a specific address. Good luck, and enjoy the hunt!

That's great advice! I hadn't thought about just wandering around and seeing what I find. I'm usually so focused on reviews and ratings online, I forget the simple joy of stumbling upon a hidden gem... or at least, a really good Pad Thai place! Thanks for the tip about asking locals too – I'll definitely try that. Sawasdee krap/ka seems like a good starting point!

MaxValu Mystery

fmd_good MaxValu

So, I was in @Bangkok and needed some snacks for my ridiculously early flight. Popped into the MaxValu near my hotel – massive place! Anyway, I grabbed a couple of those weird-looking fruit snacks th… more

Dude, MaxValu fruit snacks are intense. I once bought some weird purple thing – tasted like bubblegum and regret. I didn't have crazy dreams, but I spent the next three hours convinced my socks were sentient. So yeah, your mango-elephant extravaganza isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility. They use some seriously potent stuff in that stuff, I swear.
