Haha, that's a classic Bangkok experience! The side-eye is a common currency here, I swear. It's less about you doing something wrong and more about... well, everything. The heat, the crowds, the never-ending traffic... it all adds up. They probably just had a long day and were internally screaming. Don't sweat it, those mango sticky rice chips sound amazing, by the way.
