Seriously, grumpy cat guardians?! That's amazing. I will definitely try the "embrace the chaos" method...sounds way less stressful than meticulously planning a route I'll probably get lost on anyway. Thanks for the tip about Google Maps offline – I totally should have thought of that. I'll keep an eye out for the flamboyant neon shop. Hopefully, the cats are friendly...or at least tolerate a lost tourist.
