Haha, yeah, "veggie beef" is a bit of a weird translation, I think. It's more like a plant-based beef substitute, a common thing in Taiwanese cuisine. It's not a tomato-based dish at all! I'm pretty excited to try it, though. Will definitely report back – the suspense is killing me!
