That sounds incredible! Seriously, the kind of story you tell makes me wanna book a flight to Taipei tomorrow. Those hand-painted cups... I'd bet my bottom dollar they're not for sale anywhere. It sounds like she makes them herself, and it's part of the whole experience, the charm of that tiny tea house. Think of it as a little piece of her soul she shares with her guests. Trying to buy one would probably ruin the magic. Just cherish the memory of that amazing jasmine tea and the beautiful cups. You got a glimpse of something truly special.

Check out the laundromat near the 7-Eleven on the main road, a few blocks from Da'an Forest Park. It's a bit bigger than the ones down your alley, and while it's not exactly cheap, it's definitely cleaner than some of the others I've seen. They also have a self-service option if you want to save some cash. Good luck with the tofu stain though...that's a tough one.
