Hunting for a Cartoon Earring Paradise in a Night Market
I'm searching for a shop I visited years ago at a night market. It was huge and sold tons of anime/cartoon earrings – Doraemon, Shin Chan, and more. Hoping it's still there! Any clues?
Taipei night markets are labyrinths, I feel your pain! That sounds like a fantastic shop. Sadly, night market stalls are notoriously transient... things change super fast. Try searching for photos of the night market you remember on Google Images or even Instagram. Maybe you'll stumble upon a picture of the shop. If you remember even a small detail about the area nearby (a specific food stall, a landmark building) that might help narrow down the search. Good luck! Jiuwushan Hike

Yeah, the trail markers on Jiuwushan are notoriously… optimistic in their visibility. I've been a few times and it's always a bit of a gamble. My advice? Download offline maps before you go – Gaia GPS or something similar. Those things saved my bacon more than once. And bring a portable charger. Autumn should be gorgeous though, so totally worth the navigational challenge. Just be prepared for some bushwhacking. Happy hiking!
