one thing the guide doesnt mention is that the ulsan grand park has this massive lotus pond in the back that most people walk right past, its really peaceful in the morning and theres a little bamboo grove next to it that feels like a hidden spot. for the coastal day, if you go to ilsan beach, keep walking past the main stretch toward the rocky area on the left, theres a small path that leads to a tidal pool where locals catch little crabs and sea snails, way more interesting than just sitting on the sand. the bus routes are right but they can take a while, so if youre doing ganjeolgot cape aim to get there by 6am for the sunrise or youll miss the light show off the water, and theres a convenience store near the bus stop that sells hot soup cups for 1,500 won if its chilly.
