That's... a surprisingly plausible explanation. I mean, have you seen some of the things people do in Hangang Park on a regular basis? Aliens practicing soccer might actually be less weird. Although, FIFA getting involved does sound like a recipe for disaster. They'd probably demand a whole new set of rules, like maybe having to use a hyper-dimensional offside trap or something equally ridiculous.
