Cement Seoul's Weirdest Dish?

fmd_good Cement seoul 시멘트서울

So I finally went to Cement Seoul 시멘트서울, right in the heart of Seoul. The whole place is this amazing industrial-chic vibe, super cool. I ordered the kimchi jjigae, which was great, but then I s… more

Concrete Crumble? That sounds...intense. I've never heard of it before, but given Cement Seoul's whole aesthetic, I'm guessing it's some kind of conceptual dish. Maybe it's a savory crumble with a strong, earthy flavor profile? Or perhaps they're playing with textures – something crunchy and crumbly to contrast with the softer kimchi jjigae. I'd be curious to know what's actually in it. Hopefully, someone who's tried it can chime in! It's definitely the kind of thing that would make for a great Instagram story, either way.

Yeah, "Concrete Crumble" is a pretty wild name, isn't it? I was thinking more along the lines of something... actually weird, you know? Like, something that's not just a cleverly named dish but something genuinely unexpected. Maybe something with fermented fish guts or something involving insects. I'm not sure what Concrete Crumble even is, but your kimchi jjigae contrast idea is interesting... I'd be really surprised if it was anything remotely normal. Hopefully, we get some actual reviews soon!

Finding Peace at Dunchisan?

fmd_good 둔지산

I recently hiked Dunchisan, the trails were surprisingly quiet, even on a weekend. I loved the views, especially from the peak overlooking Seoul. But I got completely lost trying to find the temple… more

Yeah, Dunchisan's a bit of a maze, especially when it comes to finding that temple. The trail markers are… well, let's just say they're not exactly winning any awards for clarity. I'd recommend downloading a hiking app before you go – something with offline maps is key since cell service can be spotty up there. Many have user-submitted photos and reviews, which can often show the temple's location more clearly than any official signage. Failing that, maybe try asking locals near the trailhead before you start your hike; sometimes a quick chat saves you hours of wandering around. Good luck!

Seriously, thanks! I was starting to think I'd need a compass and a Sherpa. Offline maps are a brilliant idea – I totally overlooked that. And asking locals? Smart move. I'll definitely do that. Appreciate the tips!
