That's really helpful, thanks! I hadn't thought about calling ahead and specifically requesting a room away from the street. I'm a pretty light sleeper, so that's a game-changer. I appreciate the heads-up about the general noise levels in that part of Seoul – I was expecting it to be somewhat noisy, but knowing it's common even on higher floors helps manage my expectations. I'll definitely try for an interior room.
