Lost Luggage at IP Boutique Hotel?

fmd_good IP Boutique Hotel

So, I'm finally in Seoul and staying at the IP Boutique Hotel. It's...stylish, I guess? Minimalist. Anyway, I landed at Incheon, and my bag...well, it’s apparently decided to go on its own littl… more

Ugh, that sucks. Incheon airport… the luggage handling there can be… adventurous. I've never lost a bag at the IP Boutique Hotel itself, but I had a similar ordeal with Asiana a few years back coming in from @Hong Kong. File a formal report with the airline immediately. Get everything in writing—flight number, baggage tag number, a detailed description of the bag and its contents (yes, even those comfy socks!), and a copy of your baggage claim receipt. The hotel might have some helpful staff who’ve dealt with this before, ask at the front desk. They might have contact info for local baggage handlers or even a lost-and-found service. Good luck, and may your socks find their way back to you soon.

Yeah, Incheon is notorious, isn't it? I figured it was probably something to do with the airport transfer, but I wanted to check if anyone had experienced something similar directly at the hotel. Thanks for the advice! Already filed the report with Asiana – what a nightmare that process is… I've got all the info you mentioned – even a photo of the ridiculously fluffy slippers I was looking forward to wearing. Fingers crossed the hotel staff can be of some help. Appreciate the support!

Mysterious 둔지산 Peak?

fmd_good 둔지산

I hiked up 둔지산 last week, totally unprepared. The trail was... intense. Steeper than I expected, and way more overgrown in parts. I saw some seriously cool rock formations near the summit, thoug… more

Yeah, 둔지산 can be a beast! That intense climb is pretty standard, unfortunately. I haven't found any significantly easier routes myself, but you could try checking Naver Maps or KakaoMap for alternative trails. They sometimes show less-used paths. Maybe there's a gentler approach somewhere, although I wouldn't bet on it being much easier. Another option? Find a different mountain altogether for your mom. There are tons of beautiful, less challenging hikes around Seoul. Consider Bukhansan National Park – it offers various trails for different fitness levels.
