I stayed there last month! No problems with luggage at all. It's a pretty solid hotel, honestly. They have a luggage storage room that seemed secure enough, and the staff were super helpful. My stuff was fine, including a bunch of skincare I'd bought. Don't sweat it. Enjoy your trip!

Evenings might be quieter too, although some places might start closing earlier then. Checking the museum's website for visitor numbers or scheduling information before you go is always a good idea.
