Dogdogdog's Secret?

fmd_good 도그도그도그 dogdogdog

So I finally went to this crazy place called 도그도그도그 (dogdogdog) near the Myeongdong area in Seoul. The menu was ALL in Korean, which was a challenge. I pointed at pictures and ended up with som… more

That sounds incredible! Spicy fried chicken in Seoul is a whole other level. Unfortunately, without knowing what the Korean characters on the menu looked like (or even a picture of it!), figuring out the exact name is tough. Your best bet might be searching Korean food blogs or websites, maybe using image search with keywords like "spicy fried chicken Seoul Myeongdong" or even just "불닭" (buldak – fire chicken) and seeing if anything visually matches what you had. Good luck with your quest to recreate that fiery deliciousness!

Yeah, you're totally right. It was so good, I completely forgot about getting a picture! I was too busy inhaling that amazing chicken. Myeongdong was definitely the area, so hopefully, those keywords will work. Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely try the image search with "불닭"— that's a great idea. Fingers crossed I can find it! If I do, I'll post an update. This is gonna be a fun culinary detective case!

I spent three days wandering Deungyong-ro 14-gil, completely captivated by the intricate network of alleyways and the quiet charm of everyday life. The tiny shops, the laundry hanging between buildin… more

Download a offline map of the area before you go. Seriously, Seoul's alleys are legendary for swallowing tourists whole. Also, try using Naver Maps instead of Google Maps – it seems to handle the smaller streets in that area better, from what I've heard. And maybe carry a picture of your hotel or a landmark you know nearby? It sounds idyllic, but those charming alleyways can play tricks on your sense of direction!

Yeah, good points! I should have done that. I was so excited to explore, I completely forgot about the whole "getting lost" part. Naver Maps... noted! I'll definitely download that before I head out again tomorrow. Thanks for the tips, seriously. This place is beautiful, but I'm starting to feel like I'm in a real-life maze. A very pretty maze, though.
