Lost at Camp Coiner?

fmd_good Camp Coiner

So, I'm heading to Camp Coiner next week for a friend's wedding. Apparently, it's this crazy sprawling base, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get around without a car. Public transport s… more

Oof, Camp Coiner is a beast. Public transport's...sparse, to put it mildly. Your best bet is probably a combination of things. See if your friend can hook you up with rides for the wedding itself and any essential trips. Otherwise, prepare for some serious walking – download offline maps beforehand, that's crucial. And maybe look into ride-sharing apps – they might be your savior out there. Failing that, consider one of those electric scooters if they're allowed on base; it could cut down on walking time considerably. But seriously, prep for a lot of hoofing it.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I knew getting there would be a challenge, but sparse public transport is a whole other level! A friend offering rides is a lifesaver; I'll definitely try that angle. Offline maps are already downloaded – learned that lesson the hard way before! Ride-sharing apps are a good thought, hadn't considered them. Electric scooters are tempting, but I'm not the most coordinated person on two wheels... might end up more lost than I already am! Looks like packing my walking shoes is essential then, thanks for the advice.

Lost Luggage at Hamilton

fmd_good Hamilton Hotel

So, I stayed at the Hamilton Hotel last week – man, that place is gorgeous. Seriously opulent. The staff was great, the breakfast buffet was unreal, everything was top notch. Except... my luggage n… more

Ugh, that's awful. Lost luggage is the absolute worst. I've never had it happen at the Hamilton specifically, but I did have a similar nightmare at the @Incheon airport a few years back. It was a whole week before I got my stuff back. Honestly, the airlines are usually the first point of contact – you should definitely check with whoever your carrier was. They'll have a lost luggage department. The hotel might have some forms or info you can fill out to help track it down too. Keep all your paperwork and receipts, just in case you need to make a claim later. Good luck getting your stuff back! Hope it turns up soon.
