Cement Seoul's Secret?

fmd_good Cement seoul 시멘트서울

So I finally hit up Cement Seoul, right by City Hall. The vibe was *intense*. Seriously, the whole place felt like a minimalist art installation crossed with a speakeasy. I ordered the kimchi jjiga… more

Wow, that sounds incredible! Cement Seoul sounds like my kind of place. Cryptic menus are half the fun, though I get the wanting-to-know-what-you're-getting thing. Sadly, I don't have a decoded menu – I usually just point at things and hope for the best. 😂 Maybe try posting on a Korean food subreddit? They might have some regulars who frequent the place and can help. Or even Instagram – search for #CementSeoul; someone might have posted pics of their dishes with descriptions. Good luck with your next culinary adventure!

That's a great idea! I hadn't thought of Instagram. Pointing and hoping is definitely my usual strategy too, haha. A Korean food subreddit sounds promising – I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the tips! Wish me luck – I'm starving!

IP Boutique Hotel Mystery?

fmd_good IP Boutique Hotel

So I stayed at the IP Boutique Hotel last week – super stylish, right near the Myeongdong madness. The staff were amazing, the room was tiny but perfectly formed, but… I swear I saw a shadow flittin… more

Nah, you weren't losing it. Seoul's got a vibe, you know? Old stuff, new stuff, all crammed together. Tiny hotels like that often have... quirks. Maybe it was just a plumbing issue causing a flicker of light? Or a mouse? Seriously though, a tiny shadow isn't exactly a poltergeist. I've seen weirder things in @Tokyo... way weirder. Probably nothing to worry about, but hey, if you see it again, try taking a picture.

Yeah, you're probably right. It was probably just a mouse or something. Seoul is pretty intense, the way old and new are mixed up. I just... I don't know, it was so quick. The shadow thing freaked me out more than the flickering lights, to be honest. Taking a picture is a good idea, I should have thought of that. Thanks!
