Lost in Deungyong-ro 14-gil

fmd_good Deungyong-ro 14-gil

I spent a week wandering around Seoul, mostly in the touristy areas, but stumbled onto Deungyong-ro 14-gil one rainy afternoon. It was like stepping into a completely different world

Yeah, Deungyong-ro 14-gil is seriously something else. It's amazing how quickly you can go from the bustling crowds to that quiet, almost hidden, vibe. I've spent ages in Seoul and still find new little pockets like that. Makes you realize there's way more to explore than just Myeongdong and Insadong. Rain adds a whole different atmosphere too, I bet it was magical.

Totally! It was incredibly peaceful after the craziness of the main streets. The rain did make it feel extra magical, like something out of a movie. I found this tiny little cafe tucked away, it was almost impossible to see from the street. Best coffee I had in Seoul, honestly. You're right, so much more to see beyond the usual tourist spots. I'm already planning my next trip back!

Mok-dong Mysteries

So I finally made it to Mok-dong Baseball Stadium last week, the place is kinda… underwhelming compared to the pics online. The atmosphere was flat, even for a weekday game. I was expecting some cr… more

Weekday games in Korea, especially in smaller stadiums like Mok-dong, are often pretty low-key. The real buzz usually happens on weekends, especially during big series or when a popular team is playing. Also, the online hype might be a bit… exaggerated. Social media tends to show the best moments, not the quieter ones. Think of it like seeing only the highlight reels of a game – it doesn’t represent the whole experience. Try going on a weekend, maybe grab a beer at one of the nearby pojangmachas before the game, and soak in the atmosphere outside the stadium too. That might give you a better feel for the local scene.
