Kimchi jjigae running out? That's a bummer. It's not that uncommon, especially at popular places in Seoul. They probably just sell out, especially if it's a really good one. Maybe try calling ahead before your next visit to check if they have it that day – or even better, go early. Some places make smaller batches and it’s gone by afternoon. Yeah, the Sogang rumours are wild. I spent a year there – nothing that dramatic ever happened, but there’s definitely a lot of… atmosphere. Some clubs are very tight-lipped, and the older buildings are kinda creepy after dark. Think less "hidden tunnels" and more "locked doors and hushed whispers." My guess is it's mostly embellished stories, fuelled by late-night ramen and exam stress. But hey, stranger things have happened… Maybe try befriending some seniors in the history or literature departments; they seem to know everything. Good luck getting in whatever shadowy club it actually is.
