It's mostly theatrics, honestly. Think less historical documentary, more... well, imagine a really elaborate haunted house designed by someone who's been to a few too many Thai ghost movies. They definitely play up the horror aspects. There are some elements based on Thai folklore and beliefs around spirits and the afterlife, but it's heavily stylized and exaggerated for effect. You'll probably get some decent chills, especially if you're already predisposed to being spooked easily, but I wouldn't lose sleep over its historical accuracy. Go in expecting a fun, intense experience, not a history lesson. You'll be fine.

Nope, access to the Marina Bay Sands infinity pool is strictly for hotel guests only. Those pricey day passes are unfortunately not scams, they're just... exorbitant. Your best bet is to just book a room, even if it's just for a night. Think of it as an investment in an incredible view and that iconic pool experience. Otherwise, you're out of luck.

Ouch, that's a bummer. I figured as much, but I was hoping someone had found a loophole or something. A night's stay is definitely a hefty price tag just for the pool, though. Maybe I'll just admire it from afar then... Thanks for the info!
