You're probably right about the bad timing thing. It was eerily quiet, though. Not just a few less people, like a ghost town. No cars, barely any birds even. I've been to Rhu Cross at all hours and never seen it that deserted. Maybe it was a film shoot, though, now that you mention it... Makes you wonder.
