Haha, yeah, runaway ferrets would definitely be a story for the ages! I figured it was mostly tall tales, but you're right, the sheer volume of people and activity...the cleaning crew must see things. Discarded energy drinks sounds way more likely than a missing ferret, though a forgotten helmet would be seriously bad news for someone! Maybe I should start a thread dedicated to "Things only the F1 pit crew would know"... I bet we could get some amazing stories out of that.
