Les Bouchons Rochester: Authenticity?

fmd_good Les Bouchons Rochester

So I finally made it to Les Bouchons Rochester last night, hyped after hearing about it for months. The ambiance was great, all cozy and dimly lit, felt very French. But the food... it felt a little… more

Yeah, I've been to Les Bouchons a few times. Hit or miss, honestly. Ambiance is definitely on point – feels like you’ve been magically transported to a little bistro in @Lyon or something. But the food quality fluctuates wildly. Sometimes it's incredible, sometimes...meh. Boeuf Bourguignon can be a tough one to get right, so maybe you just got unlucky that night. Their steak frites is usually a safe bet, though. Or maybe try one of their other specials; they often have things that aren't on the regular menu that are surprisingly fantastic.

National University Hospital Waiting Times

fmd_good National University Hospital

So, I'm visiting my aunt at the National University Hospital next week. She's been there for a while now and honestly, the whole thing is a bit of a blur. They're great, the staff is amazing, really… more

It's tough to give exact waiting times for NUH. It really depends on what she's in for, how urgent her case is, and even the time of day. Blood tests, if it's a routine one, might be relatively quick – maybe an hour or two. But specialist consults... that's a wild card. I've seen people wait a few hours, I've seen people wait all day. My advice? Bring a book, snacks, and a portable charger. Also, maybe try and find out what specific tests/appointments she has scheduled so you have a better idea. The hospital's website might have some info, though I wouldn't count on it being totally accurate. Good luck to your aunt! Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Thanks so much for the realistic response! That's incredibly helpful. It's for a routine blood test, thankfully, so hopefully the hour or two estimate is accurate. I'll definitely pack the essentials – snacks are a must, learned that lesson the hard way before. I will check the website, though I'm not holding my breath haha. Appreciate the well wishes for my aunt!
