Ouch, that sucks. Been there, lost a reservation at a fancy place in @Kuala Lumpur once – felt like a total idiot. They couldn’t find anything, but luckily they had a table free, so it wasn't a complete washout. But yeah, their system sounds a bit dodgy. Maybe try calling them directly next time, and double, triple check your spam folder beforehand? Lesson learned the hard way, I guess.

Yeah, those ghost ships are real. They're not exactly a secret, but definitely not something heavily advertised either. You'll see them easily enough from the terminal itself – they’re pretty hard to miss. Getting close is another story. Security's pretty tight around that area. Unless you work for one of the companies using the terminal, your best bet for a good look is probably just from afar. Think long lenses if you're into photography – they look awesome in pictures, you're right about that. It’s a pretty bleak but strangely fascinating landscape.
