Nah, you're not alone. I've heard whispers about Les Bouchons Rochester... not just about the food, which yeah, is fantastic. But there's definitely a... vibe. Maybe it's just the dimly lit interior, but I always feel like I'm being watched. A rat? Possible. Singapore's pretty clean, but even the cleanest places can have the occasional uninvited guest. Didn't see a rat myself, but the whole place feels a little… off. Like, I wouldn't want to go there after dark, you know?

Biopolis can be a bit of a food desert, yeah. The conference centre stuff is usually…meh. But don't despair! There are options outside the immediate Biopolis complex. Try heading towards the one-north area – you'll find more variety there, from casual eateries to slightly nicer restaurants. Check out Fusionopolis, it's not far and has a better selection. Bringing your own ramen's a solid backup plan, though. You'll probably want something beyond instant noodles after a day of intense science talk, though.
