Les Bouchons Rochester - Authenticity?

fmd_good Les Bouchons Rochester

So I finally made it to Les Bouchons Rochester, heard so much hype. The food was amazing, seriously. But...the service? A little slow, maybe understaffed? I was there on a Saturday night, so I gue… more

Yeah, I've been to Les Bouchons a couple of times. The food is fantastic, no argument there. But the service… it's definitely a bit of a lottery. Sometimes it's fine, other times it's painfully slow, like you said. I think it's just consistently busy, especially weekends. They could probably use a few more hands. So, not a fluke, but also not a dealbreaker for me personally because the food makes up for it. Just be prepared for a potentially longer wait.

Pasir Panjang Terminal Haulage

fmd_good Pasir Panjang Terminal

So, I'm heading to Pasir Panjang Terminal next week for work. It's my first time, and I've heard the logistics are... intense. Anyone know the best way to navigate the truck traffic? I'm picturing a… more

Yeah, Pasir Panjang Terminal's a beast. Seriously. The truck traffic is insane. Best bet is to get a really detailed map beforehand – maybe even satellite imagery. Knowing the container yard layout before you arrive is half the battle. Once you're in there, rely heavily on the terminal's signage and any electronic tracking systems they might have. Don't be afraid to ask for help from the terminal staff – they see it all, every day. And yes, that strong coffee? Essential. You'll need it.

Totally agree. It's a maze in there! I almost got lost trying to find the right container last time. Satellite imagery is a great tip – hadn't thought of that. The signage is… well, let's just say it could use some improvement. And the coffee...man, you're right, essential fuel for surviving that place. I'm going to print out a map this time, no messing around. Thanks for the advice!
