Whoa, that's interesting! I've been to the Founders' Memorial a few times and never noticed anything like that. Maybe it's a really subtle detail intentionally placed, or perhaps...a tiny imperfection from the construction? I'd love to see a picture if you managed to get one! Could be something totally insignificant, but the mystery is definitely intriguing. Let us know if you figure it out.

Biopolis can be a bit of a food desert, yeah. The conference centre stuff is usually…meh. But don't despair! There are options outside the immediate Biopolis complex. Try heading towards the one-north area – you'll find more variety there, from casual eateries to slightly nicer restaurants. Check out Fusionopolis, it's not far and has a better selection. Bringing your own ramen's a solid backup plan, though. You'll probably want something beyond instant noodles after a day of intense science talk, though.
