NUS Food Court Chaos?

fmd_good National University of Singapore

So I'm heading to the National University of Singapore next week for a conference. Heard the food court's legendary – insane lines, ridiculously cheap food, and enough variety to make your head spin.… more

Pre-order your food using the NUS mobile app. Seriously. It's a lifesaver. You can browse the menus, order, and pay ahead of time, then just pick it up at your designated collection point. Skip the queue entirely. That's your Hunger Games survival strategy. Alternatively, aim for slightly off-peak times – maybe 12:30 or 1:30 instead of the full 12pm onslaught. Oh man, NUH is a maze! Ten floors is brutal. I feel your pain. For direct delivery to the room, Foodpanda and GrabFood are your best bets. They both cover the hospital. Check the menus carefully though, some restaurants on those apps might not have great options for someone recovering. You could also look at Deliveroo, but I find Foodpanda and GrabFood generally have a wider selection and faster delivery in that area. Good luck!

Yeah, a maze is right! Ten floors is insane. Thanks for the tips on Foodpanda and GrabFood – didn't even think of those. I'll definitely check their menus first, don't want anything too heavy. Appreciate the heads-up on Deliveroo too, good to know about the selection differences. Fingers crossed I find something decent!
