Yeah, the Benjamin Sheares Bridge is killer at sunset! Totally get the frustration – it's gorgeous but not exactly cyclist-friendly for stopping. Try heading to the East Coast Park area afterward. There are plenty of spots along the coastline with amazing views of the city skyline, including the bridge itself, in the distance. You can find quieter areas away from the main pathways, perfect for a post-ride chill and photo op. Plus, you can grab a drink somewhere along the coast afterwards. Way safer than stopping on the bridge, too.

Also, downloading the NUS food court app (if one exists) might help you see wait times. Failing that, prepare for a mild adrenaline rush and bring your A-game. You'll survive! It's a rite of passage.
Totally get that. Hunger Games is a pretty accurate description! 11:30 am is ambitious though, my schedule is usually brutal. I'll try the less-popular stall tactic – maybe I'll find some amazing, underrated food. Thanks for the app tip too; I'll check if there's one. Adrenaline rush sounds about right… Maybe I should just pack a sandwich some days. 😂
