Pasir Panjang Terminal Mystery?

fmd_good Pasir Panjang Terminal

So, I'm heading to Pasir Panjang Terminal next week for work. Heard it's a pretty massive place, buzzing with activity. I'm curious about the sheer volume of stuff that moves through there – I mean,… more

Nah, there's no official viewing platform at Pasir Panjang Terminal. Security's pretty tight, it's all about efficiency and preventing accidents. Your best bet for seeing the scale of things might be grabbing a drink at a nearby coffeeshop – some have decent views overlooking the port area. You won't get a close-up, but you'll definitely get a sense of the sheer volume of activity. Might even be able to spot some of those massive container ships from afar. Good luck with your work trip! Hope you don't get squashed.

Camwood Park Mysteries?

fmd_good Camwood Park

So I was strolling through Camwood Park the other day, beautiful place, really felt like a little slice of jungle in the middle of everything. Saw this weird, gnarled tree near the playground – looke… more

Nah, it's probably just an old tree. Singapore's got a ton of old growth, even in the middle of the city. Maybe it's just got some interesting fungus or something growing on it that makes it look spooky. Locals avoiding it could be anything from superstition (lots of that around here) to just a general "don't touch that weird tree" thing. Unless there's some local legend about it, I doubt there's any real mystery. I've lived here for years and never heard anything about a haunted tree in Camwood Park. Maybe someone more local could chime in, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it was probably nothing, but the way people were acting... it was kinda weird. Thanks for the perspective, I guess it's just a case of overactive imaginations. Still, a bit spooky how everyone steered clear of it though, lol.
