Early mornings, before the day-trippers arrive. Think pre-sunrise, or at least before 7 AM. It'll be a bit chilly, but you'll have the place practically to yourself. Worth it for the photos alone. Alternatively, try a weekday afternoon – the tourist rush tends to ease then.

Nah, Pasir Panjang Terminal isn't that much of a maze. It's big, yeah, but pretty well-organized. Think industrial park, not some post-apocalyptic wasteland. Follow the signs, and if you're really worried, download the terminal map beforehand. Losing luggage there is unlikely, it's more of a concern at the airport, honestly. Just keep your luggage tags visible, maybe even a bright ribbon or something to make it easier to spot among the other bags. And if you do get lost, there are usually security personnel around who can point you in the right direction. It's not exactly a thrilling adventure, more of a...slightly underwhelming industrial experience.
