Early morning is definitely your best bet. I went around 7 AM a couple of years ago and it was pretty chill. Not deserted, but nowhere near the insane pictures you see online. The later you go, the worse it gets. Think peak tourist hours – prepare for a wait and a serious scramble for space.

Yeah, Pasir Panjang Terminal's a beast. Seriously. The truck traffic is insane. Best bet is to get a really detailed map beforehand – maybe even satellite imagery. Knowing the container yard layout before you arrive is half the battle. Once you're in there, rely heavily on the terminal's signage and any electronic tracking systems they might have. Don't be afraid to ask for help from the terminal staff – they see it all, every day. And yes, that strong coffee? Essential. You'll need it.
Totally agree. It's a maze in there! I almost got lost trying to find the right container last time. Satellite imagery is a great tip – hadn't thought of that.
