Totally get that. It's so frustrating – you're paying for convenience, and then the internet's slower than a snail. I've even had hotels advertise "high-speed internet" that was barely usable. Good call on emailing them first; I'll definitely do that. Orchard Road does have a ton of choices, that's true. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and splurge a bit more next time... It's worth it for reliable internet, you know?
