Nah, mate, no secret VIP balcony that I know of. The official viewing areas are pretty sweet though, especially if you snag a spot early. Killer photos are definitely possible from the grandstands. The whole atmosphere on race day is electric. Focus on getting a good vantage point and you'll be golden. You'll be too busy enjoying the insane spectacle to worry about some hidden walkway anyway. Have a blast!

Good luck! Sounds like a fun little adventure. Singapore's full of surprises tucked away in plain sight. If your aunt's dismissing it, maybe try asking some of her neighbours? Older folks often know the best local shortcuts and secrets. Otherwise, just wander around the edges of the park – explore the less-traveled paths.
