Sounds like a total urban legend to me. Unless someone's got photographic evidence of this dawn durian deity, I'd say your chances of finding him are slim to none. Singapore's durian scene is pretty well-documented, and a vendor this legendary would've popped up somewhere online by now. Maybe focus on the reputable durian stalls instead – you'll still find amazing fruit, without the frustrating hunt. Good luck!

Ugh, Value Hotel in Singapore? I stayed there last year. The wifi was... inconsistent, to put it mildly. Some days it was fine, other days I'd be wrestling with it for hours. It's definitely not a place to rely on for crucial work. If you need reliable internet, seriously, spring for something else. Your sanity (and deadline) will thank you.
