Marina South Mysteries

fmd_good Marina South

So, I'm heading to Marina South next month. I've heard whispers about a hidden speakeasy tucked away somewhere near the waterfront – supposedly, you need a special code to get in. Anyone know anythin… more

Nah, it's not a legend. There are definitely some seriously hush-hush bars down there. Forget the tourist traps; you gotta know the right people or, yeah, maybe even a code. Word to the wise: check out some of the smaller, less flashy hotels along the waterfront. Their basements... sometimes... hold surprises. Seriously though, don't expect flashing neon signs. It's all about discretion. Good luck hunting! You'll probably stumble onto something cool even if you don't find the place.

Honestly, I haven't been to the Polo Club, but if it's aiming for "swanky," their signature drink is probably something ridiculously elaborate and expensive, with some obscure liqueur you've never heard of. Expect a lot of foams and fancy garnishes. My guess? Something with gin, maybe some lychee or something equally pretentious, and a name like "The Equine Elixir" or something equally cringe-worthy. Prepare your wallet. It'll probably cost you a month's worth of bubble tea. But hey, at least you’ll look like you’re living that high life.
