Oof, that sounds painful! Root systems in older gardens can be… unpredictable. The National Orchid Garden is beautiful, but yeah, it's not exactly a flat, paved surface everywhere. Keep an eye out near the larger specimens – they often have pretty substantial root systems sprawling out. Maybe stick to the main pathways as much as possible. And yeah, knee pads might be a good idea, or at least some sturdy shoes with good ankle support. Better safe than sorry!

Yeah, I went a few years back. It's definitely intense, but less jump scares and more... unsettling atmosphere. Think really detailed dioramas, not so much wax figures. The sheer scale of it is what gets you – it's not just a few scenes, it's a whole journey through various levels of hell. Prepare to spend a good couple of hours there, easily. The heat is no joke though. My friend is right – bring super lightweight clothes and stay hydrated. Consider visiting in the early evening or later in the day for cooler temperatures. And maybe bring a small, hand-held fan. You'll thank me later. Honestly, the humidity is the real enemy.
