Yeah, I've been. It's not for the faint of heart, that's for sure. The sheer artistry is undeniable – the detail is insane, you're right. But the subject matter… man, it’s a heavy trip. I remember feeling totally creeped out, but also weirdly captivated. It stuck with me for a while afterward, made me think about karma and all that…in a way I wasn't expecting. Definitely a unique experience, to say the least.

Yeah, the juxtaposition of old and new in Marina South is pretty cool. Those shophouses are mostly clustered around the edges, near the water – think Telok Blangah area. It's not a huge concentration, but definitely worth a wander if you're into that sort of thing. You'll find some charming cafes and maybe a few quirky little shops tucked in there too. Honestly, it's a nice contrast to the high-rises, gives you a different perspective on Singapore. Don't expect a massive historical district though; it's more like sprinkled gems amongst the modern glitz. You could easily spend a couple of hours exploring, then head back to the fancy stuff.
