That's great advice! I hadn't thought about focusing on the Gardens by the Bay – I was so focused on avoiding the touristy parts that I'd completely overlooked that. The Cloud Forest sounds especially appealing. And yes, Citymapper is a lifesaver – I've used it in other cities and it's brilliant. Thanks for the hawker center tip too; I'll definitely prioritize those over the pricier places near MBS. Appreciate the help!
